Kloud King

Al-Fakher set out to launch Kloud King, a new shisha line designed specifically for the African market. Unlike traditional offerings, Kloud King focuses on bold, mixed flavors that reflect a younger, more expressive culture. This wasn’t about heritage. It was about flavor, energy, and creating something the new generation could call their own.

The brief
Position Kloud King as a fresh, flavor-forward sub-brand that feels locally relevant and culturally in tune. The goal was to move away from the classic molasses style and introduce a product that speaks the language of street style, nightlife, and youth identity.

Creative approach
We built the brand around confidence and creativity. The visual identity, flavor names, and tone of voice were designed to be loud, proud, and playful. We drew inspiration from African pop culture, music scenes, and street fashion — turning Kloud King into more than just a shisha brand. It became a vibe.

My role
As Senior Art Director, I developed the brand's visual world and led the creative execution across digital and packaging. From early mood boards and logo explorations to the storytelling behind each flavor, I ensured everything felt high-impact and hyper-relevant to the target market.

The result
Kloud King launched with high visibility and strong engagement in key African regions. It carved out a space of its own — vibrant, youthful, and different from anything else on the market — giving Al-Fakher a bold new edge in a fast-growing segment.
